1. Enrolling and paying for Aquacoach Swimming Lessons
1.1 Payments for all swimming lessons must be made in advance of the course start
date.
1.2 Fees are determined by Aquacoach and may be altered at any time.
1.3 Aquacoach reserves the right to refuse any application for Swim School, or refuse
admission to facilities.
1.4 All swimmers need to re-enrol at the end of each term if they wish to continue
on the scheme.
1.5 If due to unforeseen circumstances lessons have to be cancelled by Aquacoach
credit notes will be given for services provided.
1.6 Refunds can only be given on medical grounds providing an original doctors note
is provided.
1.7 All courses are subject to availability, places are only secured once full payment
is received.
1.8 If you fail to turn up to a session Aquacoach accept no responsibility and do
not give refunds or make up for the missed session.
1.9 Payments can be taken over the phone, via PayPal or Cheque (cash only in advance
for re-enrolments).

1.11 In the event of adverse weather (flooding, snow etc.) Aquacoach may cancel lessons
on grounds of safety, in this situation we can only give credit notes. Notifications
of such decision will be posted on our social media platforms (Facebook and Twitter).
1.12 All course fees are exclusive of certificates / other awards. These are purchased
separately.
2. Use of the facility
2.1 Please ensure adequate swim wear is worn, bikini’s are not acceptable. One piece
costumes and swim shorts only please.
2.2 If a child wears nappies please ensure swim nappies are worn and ‘doubled up’
with tight swim shorts to prevent leakages.
2.3 Swimmers are asked to keep their belongings tidy at our facilities.
2.4 Please note lockers are not available at our facilities, it is the parents responsibility
to ensure belongings are kept safe. Aquacoach accept no responsibility for lost,
stolen or damaged possessions.
2.5 Aquacoach can not accept liability for any accident to a user that may occur
on the premises other than liability that may arise from negligence of Aquacoach.
Any user that suffers an accident at our facility must report this situation to a
member of Aquacoach staff immediately.
2.6 Showers are not always available at our facilities.
2.7 Baby changing facilities are not provided, we ask clients to bring their own
baby changing mats.
2.8 We cannot guarantee seating for parents, and not all of our sites have a viewing
gallery. In the event of no seating being available we ask parents to either stand
outside to watch or wait in their vehicles until the pupils lesson has finished.
3. The courses
3.1 Lessons last for 30 minutes each where possible, however, 5 minutes for administration
is included in this time if necessary.
3.2 Changing time is 10 minutes prior to and 10 minutes after each lesson, please
make sure you do not overrun.
3.3 Aquacoach provides all flotation equipment for lessons.
3.4 Parents are asked not to encourage communication with the pupils during lesson
time unless entirely necessary.
3.5 Parents are required to stay on site at all times regardless of the child's age,
you may use cafe facilities if available.
3.6 Aquacoach staff only move pupils up when they meet an adequate standard for that
stage, the NPTS criteria are guidelines only set by the ASA, teachers must see pupils
demonstrate consistently a minimum of 3 times. Aquacoach staff move pupils up at
their discretion.
3.7 In the event of classes starting late we will overrun the lesson to compensate
for lost time where possible.
3.8 Clients book courses with Aquacoach not with a particular instructor. We understand
the need for consistency and will endeavour to keep the instructor the same for the
entire course, however, instructors may change without notice.
3.9 If a course does not meet the minimum number to run we reserve the right to cancel
classes or reallocate to another day/time.
3.10 We do not make up for misses sessions, it is the responsibility of the client
to ensure they attend all lessons they have booked.
3.11 Floatation will be applied to pupils at the discretion of the instructors, safety
is our ultimate priority.
3.12 In the event that children are not receptive to tuition we cannot provide refunds,
however, we may provide credit notes for services provided by the company. This is
at our discretion.
3.13 We may request parent/guardians enter the water for additional assistance, if
this is the case we will contact you.
3.14 When purchasing private lessons you are buying a block of lessons with us, we
may have to cancel lesson at short notice if our private instructors are required
to cover staff sickness. In this event we will make up the missed session as a mutually
convenient time.
